ABOUT ME
My name is Sallie Beaumont and I have always been a passionate storyteller and collector. I have spent my life living across countries and cultures and have accumulated books and artefacts, wonderful friends, and a treasure chest of memories. I have been an interpreter, a teacher, an art curator, a cross-cultural trainer, a proofreader, a writer, and the organiser of a weekly jazz night in a Beijing teahouse. I recently lived in New York for 8 years where I studied voice-over and recording, and narrated audio books for people with impaired vision. In the eyes of my teenage son the coolest thing I've ever done is to appear as a featured artist on a New York rapper’s album!
