My dad lives in a care home in the UK and will be turning 95 in June this year. He has dementia and can't say more than a few odd words now so when I call our conversations are very one-sided. But then he started singing! Most of the time it's hard to understand him but he's communicating with us in his own funny way. I wrote and recorded a little story about my conversations with Dad that was aired on Life Matters on Radio National. Here's a link to the story.
